CottonTexas said: As a backup, I'm looking for something readily available to replace my fallen King's Ransom. To make things difficult, it will actually be planted in close proximity to the King's Ransom that did make it (with the Chicago Peace between them), and I'm thinking about the Golden Masterpiece. It is one of the parents that created the King's Ransom, so I know that the color won't be exact, but I'm hoping to get as close as possible.

Rose (Rosa 'Golden Masterpiece')

I can get one of these in a 1gal. from the 'Bay at the low-low price of 10x what I paid for my King's Ransom D'Oh! Not sure what size a plant that comes in a 1gal. pot might be, and the description says it's one year old, but I'm hoping it's just one more season of babying before it can be watered once per week, and fed twice per month like the others. Any opinions on how well it might match to the untrained eye? Any better options? Any reason why it might not do as well here in Amarillo? Give me your thoughts! Cheers, Cotton

Do y'all have a Lowes or Home Depot? Maybe they have a kings ransom?
After all, tomorrow is another day!
