A little to wet after all the snow melt to work in the garden today but it sure was nice out with sunshine and 66 degrees.
Love the garden images Dave and Jill.

All I can say is WOW for the images posted here and on the Porch Swing of the eclipse!!! Hurray!

I think everyone came to VT today.... the 2 interstates 89 and 91 are packed with cars heading home. We had clear skies until about an hour before totality when a few very light hazy clouds came in. Juli called me from OH and told me I should get my butt somewhere to see it. To late. We were already seeing it get darker and while on the phone we could see the edge of a dark shadow coming north. We're about 30 miles as the crow flies from the edge of totality so didn't get to see the full eclipse. The shadow looked like a really dark thunderstorm zipping along over the top of the mountain, very cool! I did grab a colander and 4x6 index card on the way out so we saw the crescents in multiple which was also fun.
Hoping for another nice day tomorrow and maybe being able to get out to the garden. Low this morning was 24.
