Dear H.R,H., I did hope you would love the food things! Fuchsia for jam and of course your privilege of eating the Royal swans, as one does at banquets. The 32 House keepers do need a break and the untold clocks a clean, but rest assured I am sure we can find enough lowly paid peasants to carry on the good work. Of course killing a Royal Deer by a serf is a Capital offence and is punishable with either hanging or hung, drawn and quartered, as you know. I am pleased to inform you that no such instances have occurred of late!
The Royal Tennis courts have been cleaned as requested, and the tapestries on the walls. The next major clean in the spring is the kitchens which have not been done since 1514, and the four poster beds.
The Bathrooms are finished, and one hopes are up to your high standards! I have found a servant to look after your husband whilst you are away on your many trips, I hope she meets your satisfaction.
Your obedient servant.
The Royal drink server.
Neil.
