I have followed this rule since I was about 26, whenever they came out and said this or that food was bad for you, I ignored them, I never gave up a food that I liked. I have never been more that a few pounds overweight, even at my age of 85.

Not being over weight is really great. Healthy weight and healthy eating habits.

I have been slim, very slim, for most of my life. Did gain after my husband died from just making poor choices. Well over 10 years ago lost the weight and stayed at 120. I thought it was all good as I easily did not gain even though I ate lots of sweet stuff. But I was getting so stiff and sore. Inflamation.

Some people don't get the stiffness and soreness. Some get it far worse than I. But I learned about diet and the gut health and the interaction between all this and started to change my eating. It has wotked for me. I feel so much better.
