Hi.

How do you know an adenium really wants a new pot? It will send you not-so-subtle signs. This one broke through an 18-inch terracotta pot after living in it for the last 3 years. Before buying it, I made sure it rang true, as to not buy damaged pots one so often finds at big box garden centers.

Frightening, isn't it? From that incident, I have figured out I will wash away all soil, hang it to dry for a month and raise it out of the ground next time I repot it. As far as the pot goes: I have Gorilla glue in stock. I am good with it and the broken pieces are big, so the repair shouldn't take long. I'll plant something less aggressive in it when it when the glue cures.

Take care,all.
Sylvain.
