Hi all! My grandmother who grew lived all her life in Iowa had a favorite rose. She told me what it was a long time ago. I ordered one of these rose bushes (this was before the internet), but it turned out they would not ship to Texas. They were located in California... near my parents. So I just had them ship the plant to my mom. Well, she loved that rose bush and it seemed to do well (in Monterey, CA). It recently died, and she has asked me to get her another one for her birthday. But I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. I've asked all my cousins and aunts if they remember... and they do not. I have pictures my mom sent of the one she had. If you have any idea what it's called, please let me know. Sorry for the long back-story, but I thought it might help to know that it probably grew in Iowa and California. And it was around when my grandmother was growing up... maybe the 1930s and on from there.
