We picked up our order from MP Flowers in Alpharetta yesterday afternoon, and got all the plants in the ground by nightfall. In some cases, we got plants in 2-gallon pots, and the rest were freshly dug in the morning, so I have high hopes that many of them will bloom this summer.

Mark and Patty are the chairpersons of the Region 5 Conference which is coming up June 7-8 in Atlanta, and hubby and I are in charge of the plant sale, so Mark gave us a tour of his garden where he is growing many of the sale plants and the bus plants. Our winter and spring weather has been conducive thus far for daylilies, so the plants are looking great. Mark mentioned that many of the plants will be 3 or more fans. So far, he has identified at last 60 different cultivars that will be in the sale, so I have the challenge of coming up with enough bins to display them all for sale. I guess that is a good problem to have.
