I'm with 'purpleinopp'. The DNA is not yet complete on this subject. To me, I will always use the old term Sansevieria. Letting the cut dry is always a good idea to help stop fungle spread and promotes quicker healing. Only a few days would do. Use of something like 'Rootone' helps also.
I am getting too old to keep up with all my plants and would love to give most away. Shipping is getting too expensive now to ship out.
I saw yesterday at our local Walmarts Sans. futura flame in large 6" pots selling for under $20 dollars. What a deal.
