This is it for spring--received a beautiful triple fan of Confessions Of A Hemaholic from Laura which was quickly planted--my husband said it looked so good he expected it to be blooming in a couple of days
And now for a surprise--I have been looking for Crintonic Painted Desert for some years, thought I had it two years ago from C. Hanson, but he ended up returning my check, saying the plants were too small. So, I kind of forgot about it until I saw it listed on a Plant Step catalog. I emailed and found out it was available. It arrived Friday ---four very nice fans, a triple and single. Also a bonus plant, Bristol Cream--was included. The DLS are now in the ground and we are hoping we might see a bloom this year. Rainbow Mesa is the pollen parent of CPD and now CPD is planted right next to Rainbow Mesa.
Don't know why this pic is sideways, but you can see the plants are very nice, good roots.
Bristol Cream is at the top, it's actually five small plants together. It will be interesting to see how it does, since it is a Canadian hybrid.
