I have a red currant in a pot that I've had for a few years. This is the second size up I've kept it in. I want to upgrade it again, but it grew buds earlier than usual this year. Can you repot a red currant when in bud? Or is it better not to?

I also got a new black currant that I wanted to put in a larger pot than it came in, but it's also in full flower right now. Safe to repot or wait? I don't want to lose all the blooms.
