I finally have a screened porch! They did the framing and screening on Thursday and returned yesterday morning to install the gutters and downspouts. I spent yesterday afternoon putting the furniture and plants back into place and now I'm loving my porch! My husband hung two ceiling fans today and the electrician is coming to hook up the electrical first thing Monday morning. The only thing left is to replace the rusty old porch light.

It's so wonderful to be able to sit outside in the evening and at night without the bother of pesky mosquito's. I enjoyed having my coffee out there at 7:00 this morning and will do so again tomorrow morning. We only screened part of the back deck, the upper deck was left open because to put a roof on, with the slope it would be almost impossible for anyone 6' tall to stand. I still have some plants to move back on that part of the deck which I will do next week but for now I'm just relaxing and enjoying the view.
