Lillies in.
Then I had the harebrained idea to weed the full front bed. I pulled out 9- 5 gal full pails of weeds. The bed is 3x 10 and 6x16 or so. That's a lot of weeds!
And it was full of this one all wrapped around the iris which in turn was holding moisture in and I had some rotten rhizomes.
What is it:
It's a creeper and very fine vining under those leaves and it's all over the place! Thick!
And now I can't move so well. I think I'll go drown and then do some PT stretches. I'll deal w the heap move this Sunday maybe. I overdid it today. My brain was like let's go and my muscles say hell no we won't go!
At least it's done. I'm abstaining from throwing preen. I want to but if I'm putting seeds in that's not wise.
If I can move after cleaning up, then I'll go throw pepper flakes. I'm over animals and weeds! I'd just like things to stay cleaned up…wait I see a repeating theme in my life!
