For a very brief time the sun was out and the sky red and purple. It's all gray now, we're suppose to have rain all day.

I have to chuckle how dry the front bed turned once the weed was all done. Glad to have that huge job done. Still have the other beds to do, but the front was the hairiest.

Today I will be altering kid1s dress. That's the issue when she doesn't have time and I'm trying to fit as best I can without her here. Argh!

Then I'm going to try to find time for cuttings and gift wrapping. I've got a wedding, graduation, first communion, school concerts, rehearsal dinner, ball games etc to ready for. Lots and lots. Throw in starting fair projects - when will I have time for anything? I feel like I need 12 of me again today.

Anyone doing no mow may? I think town said we can't let lawns get longer than 6". Besides, we need to reseed the front yard. I told the hubs I may put the compost down in some areas as the dirt they filled the front with after the new street was crappy and/or the grass they used was not for this area. I'm not sure which. But we need to make it better. The compost may help. Will see what I have left.

Happy day to you all! Hope the weather is just mild rain for everyone.
Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."
