Taking a break before the next alteration to the dress. I am taking it slow because it don't want to cause a big problem. The elastic is fixed and hem shortened and in. Ned to alter the shoulders and bust. Which then means I need to redo the sleeveless sleeve. I'll be glad to get it done.

Lucy: yay for jobs done and for recert! How often does that need to be done?

AM: pouring here!

I'll be glad to get that sewing done and cleaned up for the moment. Oh don't get me wrong, I have plenty of sewing to do yet. But I need to move on to a few other things first and then cycle back.

The year is almost half done! I'm not ready for tot to be half done. Yes, a good warm up is what I was looking for to get flowers blooming, but I don't need another year almost done. Does time slow once the kids are gone or does it continue to go warp speed and you wake up one morning at 80 and say what have I done? Where did time go?

Need to take some cuttings soon. I should have done that 3 days ago. As I have said I'm way behind in some respects. I guess I should put my phone away, finish the projects at hand and get on with the day.
Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."
