Great weather now for my new transplants.
Broccoli was barely successful. I just cut the heads and can go back for some side shoots later. I probably paid $4 for the four pack and am lucky if there's $4 worth to eat. I guess they entertained me too.
Planted okra seed, about a dozen little clumps of three seeds, only needing less than ten plants but since I saved seed, I have plenty to waste.
Need to thin the beets/ chard. Those seeds are clumped already, aren't they?
Need to plant yellow squash, bought new seed.
Need the fox to understand where it is allowed to dig when exploring for voles. And where not to dig.
Last falls rescued fingerlings aren't showing much. They were tiny anyway. The newly planted spring potatoes look fantastic.
Fall planted onion sets are still green and many are bolting. I may have to use them like gigantic scallions.
Plant it and they will come.
