As for our newest Golden Masterpiece, there seems to be good looking progress here, and I'm quite pleased.

With the overcast weather and the rain we had last week, I was a bit lackadaisical when it came to covering and watering, and I believe I'm seeing the consequences in the King's Ransom:

I was thinking that this year the two established roses would not need the hoop-shade, and would only need a deep watering once per week. I was still using the hoop-shade because of the new gal, and I quickly realized that I would need to water them twice per week to keep them from drying out. I assume that what we're looking at in the above photos is sun damage, but I left the water on at a trickle for them for several hours to be sure they were properly hydrated after seeing such serious wilting. The Chicago Peace looks to be just fine though, so I'm thinking it's more likely sun-damage on the yellow petals, but I'm still not 100% certain.
...and here I thought I'd "cracked the code" - lol. Well, we all know where pride goeth, no? I hope everyone is having a great day! Cheers, Cotton
