Dillard, do you have problems with squash vine borers? (more to the point, do you have solutions for protecting against them?)

None that I have not been able to handle. My first line of defense is timing. I try to get them producing before the moths migrate up from Florida. Iam not organic, so if I see a moth before I am ready to turn under the plants, I grab a contact insecticide and apply it to the surfaces where the eggs are laid. Direct contact insecticides like Carbaryl have been effective when the moths arrive early. They ride up on tropical storms, so I have some warning
