If you do a Google image search you'll find there's an oxalis called 'burgundy bliss' and also one that's just called 'burgundy'.
They might be more like yours than the copper velvet is.

I do believe it's an oxalis, though, not clover.

Clover is of the trifolium family and though can have red blooms usually the foliage is green or maybe variegated. Plus the blooms on clover are not flat as they are on oxalis. Clover blooms like little spiky ball shapes.
