My last order for this spring season arrived today from New York, Nonnie's Daylily Gardens. I ordered four plants, received 'Carved Pumpkin Pie' as a bonus plant.
I got 'Big Bird's Friend', 'Artistically Engraved', 'Eloquent Cay' and 'Keys To The Kingdom'. I was so pleased with the size and condition of the plants. What really impressed me was the care taken in preparing the plants for shipping, they were cleaned, trimmed and wrapped with care. Three of the cultivars had three fans and any single fan that went with two other was were also tagged so that if they became separated you would still know what each of the fans were. I have never had anyone go to that much trouble before.
I had been given a plant at our little club board meeting yesterday so I got it('Great Mercies') tagged and planted while waiting on the plants from Nonnie's to arrive. I had been contacted by phone and told to expect them on Friday. Very nice communications also.
