Every dahlia is on the porch! The newest got a good water and maybe they'll get some rain on their leaves while sitting there. Once the porch dries some, I'll head out and sort by height and like blooms. I've got 3 more that I am not sure what they are doing. Probably rotting! I have one that has eyes and no shoot, one that shot and fizzled, and one that has gone no further than an inch. I will probably ditch the three of them.

Getting dark here again. The rain is most welcome. We are trying to catch up with what the summer and winter last year didn't get to us. I'm perfectly fine if it rains all day, I mean it's just weeds and planting right?!
Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."
