It is so irritating when you pay for a service (like priority mail) yet it takes just as long as regular mail. I sent a package to Georgia on Sat (to Casshigh) and it still hasn't arrived yet. It went to Baton Rouge, LA for some reason instead of the usual route. I asked someone who used to work with the postal service about this and they said a lot of times the delays are with the airlines. If the flight going to one destination is full they will load any excess packages and mail onto another flight which may be going the opposite direction it needs to. I had sent another package to a different part of Georgia the same day and it got there Monday, same as packages going clear cross country.
It's frustrating because you send out nice, green plants and then it takes forever for them to arrive and they probably won't be green any longer.
