I guess I poke 2 or 3 good sized holes.

I got this tip from a wintersowing friend. Fill the cup about 1/2 with soil, sow the seeds. As seedlings grow, add soil to the top. Plants end up planted deeper.

But again I've taken this thread astray. Sad
