I have been buying plants on the LA for over 5 years and only one time have I received a bad plant. These look like they may have been spiders, maybe??? They naturally are smaller fans if they were spiders. If not, they are on the small size. The mold should not be an issue if you take the advice of several here that said to soak them in a bleach solution. I am with Michele, I let my plants air dry for 24 hours before shipping to make sure this doesn't happen.
