I bought a CC last season and it was very pot bound then. Now it needs re-potting.I can't get a finger through the roots to check for water, now it is beginning to rot at the soil line, after being left out in a rain storm. The humidity was very high and i thought maybe it was causing the plant to stay wet longer than it normally would?? The other 2 CC's are fine and they were in the same rain storm.

My question is this plant is big and only in a 8" pot.How do i safely pull each section in the pot apart without killing the plant or do i only loosen the roots before putting them in a bigger pot with new soil ??? Confused Shrug! Sticking tongue out

I don't want to loose this plant it is a big, beautiful full plant with the biggest, thickest sections i've ever seen on a CC before.

PLEASE ANY ADVICE OR HELP IS APPRECIATED
