Hello my TX friends. You probably all know I am in sw FL by now. I love it here, but do miss old friends. I know that usually about now someone is planning all the spring RU's. I am going to miss meeting up with you all.
I have been reading about the terrible winter that you have been having and I have to say that I don't miss that at all! LOL I have to come back to TX to finish moving and I have been waiting for it to warm up a bit. It sounds like it may be starting to thaw out a little.
I am sure that all of my plants that were left behind are dead, dead, dead. I wish I could have snook 'em all across the FL inspection stations that you have to stop at when you are in a moving truck or pulling a trailer. I put as many as I could underneath stuff but I left so, so many.
The season here and the flowers that grow here are so very different from ctrl TX. There were bouganvilleas blooming here in Nov when we came to buy our house. I don't think they ever stopped.
We came back here in Jan and have have yet to need a jacket except for very early in the morning on a few of the cooler (58 ) occassions.
I'll have to have a reunion here and everyone can come and go to the beach with me. I am 30 minutes away from beautiful beaches here. I'm three hours from Disneyworld for anyone wanting to come spend a night and bring the grands.
I'd love to time my return around the RU's so I could see you guys again.
Luv Ya'll
