Jim, regarding the cultural condition for Bulbos, I have my echinolabium in an Ecoweb basket without additional medium, others are either mounted or in pots with a bit of coconut fiber added. Under my conditions I had trouble growing them in bark mix and I know I would have trouble trying them in Sphagnum. But your OC in Florida surely provides another set of condition.
