I.m just the opposite, in that my association with the term 'hummingbird moth' is the Sphinx Moth group. I'd not even seen a Clearwing until last month. My 1st impression of the pictured Clearwing was, 'mmmm...big bumble bee'. Snowberry Clearwing from August in a near by state park that practices keeping the wild, wild (well, most of it anyway).Thumb of 2012-09-26/jmorth/aed8c3
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
