What kind of light is best for the spider plant? Because of the glare on the tv in the Sun Room, my DH keeps the blinds closed till about dinnertime. I just moved the spider plant to the office, where it will get morning sun and I keep the blinds open..Is that sufficient? I guess I must have the varigated variety, it has green and white leaves. Has little babies but they don't have roots like the picture posted above. How long does it take for them to grow roots so I can separate them from the Mother plant and grow more? The plant is about a year old, re'd at a Fall 2011 plant swap.
