We use the cut mini blinds with the name written on them with the Elmers paint markers that you get from the craft section of Walmart (or something similar). I have seen these written on with pencil also and that stays really well. You could also use the waterproof address labels and print them from the computer (you would need a laser printer because inkjet will run when it gets wet).
