Mary Ann you have great eyes the 3rd from the bottom was a Schreiners seedling Smiling the same hybridizer as Like Wow and I think Paul is right they must go through a pretty stringent process to get introduced and I am glad they do, it just means when I buy the plant it should flower and grow well year after year. I think a lot like you as I will buy a beautiful flower with a little less buds and maybe a little tight on the branching if it is unique and way different than anything else out there. I think you will see some of these for sale in the years to come.

Lucy most of the pictures I have from Oregon were taken as they were at peak or just a little past so I don't know if that one opened all at once or that is a flower that the blooms last a very long time, I know most of the older varities did in fact bloom and were done in 3 days but the newer ones with tighter standards will last a lot longer and hold up so much better to the weather. The reason that particular flower talks to me is the coloring of it, the blue pink color is unique and the beards compliment wonderfully not to mention the smell was really really good on it Smiling I will try to find a couple more pictures of it I know I saw it in different locations in there garden.
