This plant will get a major trimming before bringing it in for the winter. It roots in about
six weeks in whatever soil you plant it in if kept damp. It isn't cold hardy. During above
freezing days, it needs to be in full sun for the white part of the leaves to turn red. My
plant is about 12 years old, gets trimmed each fall, makes an attractive house plant and
comes back to a bushy size the next season.

I think that 4-6 12" cuttings would be enough for a 10"-12" pot and would ship in a cardboard
sleeve for about $2-$3.
