I usually just get some mums or I gather stems of colorful leaves and place them in containers by my doorway.
I did something that is a different take on CDs Sisters request to see "Fall Containers". Today, I put all the sedum pieces that had "Fallen" out or were pecked out by birds out of my succulent pots into this yellow Head Planter that was given to me by a woman who came into ownership of an cactus/succulent nursery after her husband died . She told me to take the "woman's head" home free of charge because she had always disliked this planter.
So the head is my "Fallen" container of 2012
