I use a dab of peanut butter which is heavy and can weigh down the trip. After you put a dab in the center hole just take your plastic knife and lift up the red trip to set. For the winter, I have the traps, pots, bamboo steaks, peanut butter and disposable gloves to keep my scent off traps, and sand or grit all in a wheelbarrow.

Hector - Don't give me any ideas. I wish I had the nerve to mow mine down.

I have wondered if there is developmental delays if foliage is cut back multiple times, maybe because of spring sickness, leaf streak, rust, hail damage and whatever.
