Ursula, Hallo!
I did keep the tag to the plant. But I don't think it helps me too much. I thought that the plant had been given to me with a tag but when I looked for it, it was not to be found. Well, tonight I recalled having put it in the kitchen drawer where my German food scale is kept. There it was and here is what is included there:.

Lila Mystique - Lilac Orchid
With a little bit of magic we turn a white orchid lilac!
New blooms will be gorgeous white!

(that is all on the tag for the plant)

I looked tonight in the data base as you suggested or maybe it was virginiarose; anyway, I put a search in for White Moth Orchid and the first one that came up look exactly like mine, as best I can tell with my naked eye!

I looked again, and there sure is a spike on the plant and ten blooms that are very nice.
I wish that I had a good camera to be able to take a pic of it and post here so you could see just what it looks like. My DD comes Wednesday and I will ask her to bring her good camera and take a pictur for me. She is very good with a camera for me!

At the moment, I am thinking that it is exactly what you suggested: Phalaenopsis Orchid or White Moth Orchid, like I saw posted in the database here.

Thanks for your help. It is so appreciated. I REALLY enjoy looking at the pictures you all are able to post. It is very enjoyable for a "homebound" person" I can tell you for sure.

Wishing all my new neighbors a wonderful new week! Oma
Smiling
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.
