I knew I couldn't live as far north as FLL when the very first time I was there it went to 28 that night. Back in the 70's. Some Canadians I met there were in their coats, groaning that they'd driven something like 45 hours straight through to find a warm beach.
Then I went to the Keys, and it was 68 and drizzling rain, Brrrrrrr! I was camping, so it was miserable.
Are you anywhere near the maniac daylilly breeder farms? They're "making" some wild flowers now-a-days.
