Peaches do require a certain number of chilling hours to produce fruit so you need to pick a low chill variety and even then if we have a real warm winter you will have less fruit production. My best crop came a couple years ago when it dipped to 18 F. Destroyed most every thing else but the peaches loved it. Last years warmer weather cut the number in half.
