We have a black compost box.It doesnt produce enough to do the whole garden but I use it when putting in any new plants.
I will add it to iris in spring.
I am the one who is helped by the advise.New to iris and in comparison to everyone here I dont have huge beds, just clumps to round out compositions of other areas in the garden.
