I haven't been to a daylily meeting in some time but when I heard that Mary Jane Meadows was coming to speak at the Southern Massachusetts Daylily club last Sunday I decided to take the drive.....all 2 hours and go meet her and see what she's been up to. What a good time I had at the meeting (nice group of people) and how nice was it to get a chance to meet Mary Jane. Like quite a few of you I also grow some of her daylilies and have been wanting to add more. What a nice lady she is and I was very surprised to find that she remembered me from the purchases I had made in the past. The club had an auction of some of her more recent intros including some of her 2013's and my hand would just not stay down Whistling Whistling Whistling I was lucky enough to get SUCH A GREEN HORN and a couple of others to add to my new garden next spring. If you ever hear of Mary Jane coming to speak anywhere I highly suggest you go hear her! Thumbs up
Life is short, enjoy the ride!
