I enjoy germinating seeds... well, not so much when no green shows up!
But since most stuff is from abroad, it's a lot cheaper to try seeds and also... there's customs regulations, etc.
Not here. I think I can get away with small plants in envelopes but there's always a risk.
Yes Hetty... But I'll be old by then. I moved them to those let's say bigger pots late in summer and I can tell they feel much better.
Kristi, nope, those would be orchids. Lady slipper ones.
