That is stunning, so interesting the pattern of color. Is it that way throughout the growing season. Or is that just it's fall color?
I finally was able to take some photos this late afternoon. Here is what is blooming at my place right now.
Geum coccineum 'Cooky', one lone bloom.
A miniature rose that I lost the name of. : (
Tradescantia 'Sweet Kate'. You can see the foliage is dying from a combination of cold and wet.
Tanacetum parthenium 'Flore Pleno' doesn't seem to be bothered at all by the cold, wet weather.
Acer palmatum 'Crimson Queen'
Unknown barberry shrub. The birds feed off of it in the winter.
Cyclamen hederifolium and C. hederifolium 'Alba' love this cool, wet weather. They are sure good at reseeding themselves.
Two blooms left on this pitiful looking Toadlily. It's on it's way to dormancy.
Epilobium canum
Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii 'Profusion'
Delosperma cooperi, still going strong. What an amazing succulent. It has bloomed all summer.
I can't believe this species penstemon is still blooming and setting buds. Penstemon x mexicali Pikes Peak Purple
