I let my pond go to hell this summer. I couldn't see it most of the summer (the bluebeards ate the top part of the pond as it's a double pond "waterfall" type), and then the algae took over (gonna try the pothos as it's much more easily controlled than duckwort. The goldfish I had in there ($0.25/feeders) got eaten by birds/neighbor's cats/snakes, so I'm actually debating on ripping the pond out & just saying
and planting more roses. But I love my pond...
