My three big swimmers perform fishy water ballet this time of the evening; they're all swimming together, back and forth in front of the glass. They won't let me forget to feed them! When someone walks by they'll actually make a big splash or two; their form of yelling, I guess.
I tried water plants in with my fish. They just ate them.
The little shredded particles were a bear to keep out of the pump filter, so I didn't replace them.
