Adeniums species have very different locations around Africa and Arabia.

Most Adeniums we have are obseums, from central Africa. One of the countries is in the news lately, Mali. North of the Congo rain jungles, and south of the Sahara desert. Other Adeniums are from South Africa, southern Africa, various countries, and Arabia and an island named Socatra

The plants we-all have are so mixed breed that there's no way to tell what they are, but mostly A. obseum.. Your photos appear to be the same flower.

Oh, in my experience, the plants with narrow leaves don't transpire, sweat, as much as the rounded leaved plants, and should be watered less, kept on the dry side. If the leaves all start looking poorly, or turning yellow or brown, check for soft stems, and gently push a finger on the caudex, root, to see if it's gone soft. If so, immediately take the plant out of the pot, and shake off as much soil as you can, and check for rot.

This time of year, you should be watering and feeding less, anyway. Cooler temps make for rot, surprise, booooo. Google is a most wonderful resource! You'll find lots of advice. It does boil down to what works for you. Water sparingly, best in the morning, don't water the leaves, Make sure the potting medium doesn't be soggy for any time, and don't leave the plant standing in water.

Whew.
