Thanks for all of your help which clears up a lot of issues in my mind. I'll review
and save the links.
My new iMac has some kind of feature called iCloud which is supposed to be a
place to send all of my files in a safe place to be accessed from anywhere, not
just my home computer. I've only had this computer since August and have much
more to learn about it. it's so different than the PowerMac I used a few years ago
that I have to hunt and find my way around. I did buy the Dummy book for
Mountain Lion and have read many parts of it - long way to go though. I don't
know if iCloud has to be bought or requires a month fee or not.
