Cindi - I'm in the same boat as you. 70s here (almost unheard of for November), nights are cool, but I was just out wandering around this afternoon. My Day Breaker just bloomed AGAIN! WTH! This weekend we're supposed to get cooler weather, but I'm not holding my breath. I also am having roses coming in the week of the 19th, but I'm going to just bury them outside & mulch them 100%. That way, they don't get any sun, so they stay in dormancy until next spring. That's what I did when I got some roses in from England (Summer Holiday & Doris Tystermann) and it worked great. Our moisture levels are the lowest in like decades.. there's a large pond/small lake near my work that's almost 100% dry.. and I've never seen it empty in 11 years. It's horrible. If we don't get some snow tomorrow, I will have to water everything again. But thankfully I don't have the wind that you do! Too much pollution, yes, wind, no.
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
