I know that creeping jenny (Lysimachia nummularia) can be very invasive in warmer zones from what's I've read, but I haven't found it to be a problem here after many years. It certainly adds a lot of colour when it is covered in bloom, and it blooms over a long period too. The golden variety ('Aurea') is less vigorous.
