Thanks for the compliments everyone! These two seedlings were first year blooms and I was thrilled with them because they are tall and have multi branching. Thanks MIsty for the suggestion of Hip Hop Music....I looked that one up on the LA and had actualy considered it awhile back but then read that it's an EV. One of the parents of these is a dormant and since I live in zone 5 I need to match it up with another dormant or at least an SEV. I can grow Evergreen's here but it's a hit or miss. David Kirchhoff told me to use only what does well in my zone when planning my crosses so I'm going to try and keep that piece of wisdom at the top of my memory bank!

Tink...if these multiply quickly I'll definitely keep you in mind if I wish to sell some of either of them. I want to see how they do through the winter and how they perform next year when they hopefully get some rain! I only watered a few times during our drought, so I know they're both pretty tough (so far!)

In addition to my seedling crosses I've got All Things To All Men on hold for me from Karol Emmerich....my most $$ hybridizing plant to date. Excited to see what babies that will bring me in future years. Won her Gnashing of Teeth on the LA so looking forward to using that one too.

I hope more people will post here what crosses they plan to make, I enjoy the reading and looking them up to see their characteristics Smiling
