Sure hope that seedling knows how special it is and blooms with everything you hope for! I'm with Fred, if I did that it would most likely be a one bud wonder and ugly too.
Wish it were warm enough to put things outside during the day, we have been in the 30's with flurries.
There are always several sdlgs kept each year because they are different or I want to see them bloom again. The keep bed still has a few that go back to 03, sometimes I can't make up my mind.
