Thanks for the welcome ge1863 and bearsearch. Trying out henryi citrinum this year, one I've never grown and flowered before - I'm certainly looking forward to finding another lifetime of beautiful lilies out there. Hopefully in batches of seed that come to flower too!
Bearsearch, there's nothing quite as beautiful as the first seedling you see flower from your crosses, however plain it may realistically be, nothing compares to that first motherhood moment!
I think I'll be making crosses this year with the intent of having seed to swap. I've sort of been growing lilies in a vacuum this last decade or so, so producing something to trade is another new adventure for me!
