It was cold outside yesterday but I was outside much of the day hurrying as I wanted to finish my bulb planting. The forecast was for rain mixed with snow today. So far only rain but it is supposed to change over to the rain snow mix later. I really wanted to get those bulbs in.

Been working on them thru much of October and most of November. I can tell you I sure hope I don’t have to do this again as I hated having to work outside in November as it had already gotten cold.

To make it worse I had ordered over 4,000 bulbs by October and a few days later ordered from two more companies to make my bulb total 4,999 bulbs.

I ordered –
Tulips- 2,866
Crocus- 1,150
Daffodils- 588
Iris Reticulata- 200
Dutch Iris- 170
Hyacinths- 25

I got them from-
800 dutchgrown direct from holland
72 Brecks
187 American Meadows
825 Colorblends
660 Brent& Beckies
1,600 Van Engelen
210 bloomingbulb.com
645 Scheepers

4,999 Bulbs. I have to keep repeating that number as now I know WHY I am so darn stiff and sore for weeks now. I am glad it is yucky out today. I wasn’t going to go work out in the yard anyway.

I am so happy to be done!

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!
